A little over a year ago, Corey and I were scrolling through her Hinge results. And now I’m photographing her Disneyland proposal! It had been a few months since she last went on a date. And I remember her texting me right before she met Joel for the first time and just how nervous she was. There were hardly any nerves to be found in her now but that’s okay because I was super nervous! It’s a lot of pressure to photograph your bestie… but I wouldn’t miss it for anything.

DISNEYLAND PROPOSAL

Anyone who loves Corey knows she is impossible to surprise. I did my best to stay in cahoots with Joel about his proposal plan. But Corey could see right through us and knew a Disneyland proposal was happening. He was still able to surprise her with some special guests though! And she of course was in love with everything. I can’t wait to celebrate their wedding with them.

Corey & Joel: if I ever only had one purpose, I’d be content with it all leading up to this moment. And I am so honored that I got to be present for your Disneyland Proposal! DISNEYLAND PROPOSAL

Getting to watch your best friend get engaged right in front of you is the best gift ever. And we got so lucky with the amazing people who waited to let us have this moment. My best friend, Corey, got engaged at Disneyland. And we love the spot right next to the castle for those magical photos without a lot of people in the background. Joel chose Corey’s dream engagement ring from Ashoori & Co Jewelers. A local business that absolutely made this couple’s dream come true. It has been such a joy to get to travel to Southern California for socal weddings and socal engagements and socal parties. And I get to do more than just Disneyland proposal photos!
