You ever been close to someone who just lights up a room? And I mean close like standing near them. Being Lynn’s Fullerton Photographer for her 80th birthday was like that. I had met Lynn once or twice when she was meeting with my mom over Zoom. But this was the first time I got to be in the same room as her. And all the amazing things everyone had to say about her were instantly true.

Little by little, the room filled with people. Each time another person or group came in, Lynn’s light just grew brighter. And I loved watching her realize just how loved she is. So loved that she got the Pixies from Pixels2Pages (who live all over the country) to show up for her. And to be her Fullerton Photographer on this special day was the best gift anyone could have given me.

Lynn: happy 80th birthday, my friend! To be present for this big milestone is such a privilege. And I feel so incredibly blessed to have been able to celebrate with you. Not to mention the Pixies! It was a joy to watch you bask in the love from your people. And to see you be celebrated by so many… I hope my legacy is as deep and as wide as yours when I’m 80. Happy birthday, Lynn!

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PHOTOGRAPHER

This may have been my first visit to Fullerton. But it isn’t my first trip to be a Southern California photographer! If you’re a Disney fan then you’ll love this one.
