Five years. They’d been together for five years! And it was their anniversary, too. Five years to the day, Kevin planned the perfect proposal for the love of his life. And Paulina said yes, of course! On a beautiful vacation to San Diego, Kevin took Paulina to Balboa Park and proposed in the Japanese Friendship Garden. And it was just the two of them. How romantic! We heard all about it at their Monterey Engagement Photos.

And these Monterey Engagement Photos are extra special to us, too. My (Angela) high school best friend, Kim, happened to be a mutual friend of Paulina + Kevin’s. And she thought they’d be the perfect match. Well, she was right! In fact, she’ll be officiating their Jardines de San Juan wedding next summer. On their first date, they just hung out and talked a ton. And they watched Inside Out, which makes us happy because we’re all big Disney fans. These two shared their story with us at their Monterey engagement photos.
