Late nights. Almost every night. Junior year, this sweet girl you see before you was working her butt off studying for SAT tests, AP courses, and everything in between just to be as prepared for college as she possibly could be. She worked twice as hard if not more as everyone else and felt like she was struggling to keep up. It seemed futile as she saw her friends less and less, her physical health slowly feeling the burden of her mental stress and the SAT scores seemed to stay the same.
But let me tell you. This girl. Allie’s Mount Madonna Senior Portrait Session was a CELEBRATION! All of her hard work and sacrifice has paid off, and she has been accepted to all of the universities she applied to. She prayed and prayed that God would carry her through this, and He is faithful. She’s headed to Point Loma Nazarene University to pursue a path of helping other people. This girl deserves every good thing coming her way. Choosing to stay focused on school and not be distracted by high school antics is one of the hardest lines to ride when you’re that age. We’ve all been there. And this girl did it. She stayed the course by the grace of God and we are so proud of her!
Allie, it is worth it! Your Mount Madonna Senior Portrait Session is a testament to the young woman you are and all the joy, struggle and sacrifice you’ve made thus far. It isn’t over, but the best is yet to come. Keep close with that tight-knit family of yours. We know firsthand what it’s like to find our worth in other people, and we all know that that just does not work. We pray that this next season of life is full of joy that doesn’t eliminate your struggle but rather eclipses it. You are beautiful, worthy and incredibly special. You got this! We can’t wait to see where God takes you next!
Allie is a 2019 graduate from Morgan Hill high school Ann Sobrato High School, home of the Bulldogs. Like many class of 2019 graduates, Allie invited us to be her photographers for her senior portrait session. We LOVE senior portrait sessions. The best time of year to have your senior portraits done is the summer before your senior year. If you’re a graduating senior in the class of 2020, now is the time to book your senior portrait session!
