My wonderful friends, Kelsey&Esteban, were married at their home church in Clovis, CA after having been separated by 50 states for 6 months. Kelsey was one of the first friends I ever made in college and she later became my roommate, which was the best year of my life. Interestingly, it was a music video I made for a class that brought these two together – it was serendipitous that I would be the one to capture the beginning of this story.
Kelsey&Esteban (affectionately known as #kelsteban) got ready in different places – he at home and she at a hotel. The hotel the ladies got ready in was spacious with lots of natural light for me to use with beautiful window coverings and drapery. Kelsey&Esteban shared an intimate first look at the Shinzen Friendship Garden inside Woodward Park in Fresno, CA. The beautiful gardens were the perfect backdrop for such a romantic experience. With 8 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen, this bridal party did a fantastic job at moving quickly! We were actually done early. Whew!
I absolutely adore these two, and it was such an honor to be the one to capture the day with our other roommate assisting. Kelsey was one of the least nervous and most joyful brides I’ve ever known. Esteban couldn’t contain his excitement and joy – it was so obvious (trust me, you’ll see it in the photos).
Enjoy some of my favorites from the day!
