David was so sure he had the best wedding gift for Katie. He had planned it out and went big for her at their Hayes Mansion Wedding. And he definitely did nail that gift for Katie. But Katie surprised David with not only a great gift… but pretty much the same gift David got for her! As Katie opened her gift to pull out a life-size Slowpoke pokemon plush she couldn’t help but laugh. Because David opened a life size Gengar pokemon plush! It just goes to show how much they know and love each other.
And it was so obvious just how much their family and friends loved them too. All day it was nonstop hugs and tears congratulating Katie and David. The day had finally arrived! Their Hayes Mansion wedding was happening right in front of them. And everyone was over the moon and excited to be there. We were especially excited to see all the personal touches showing this couple’s love for pokemon and Disney. And now we can’t wait to have all kinds of Disney trips with these two!
Something we learned early on about Katie and David… they love to surprise people. Their love story always made sense even when it didn’t. And it stayed true even to how they got married before their Hayes Mansion Wedding. You see Katie and David decided to together that they wanted to get married. And instead of planning the big wedding (which would have made sense) they decided to elope in Las Vegas! You have to hear how they met, too, when they told us at their History Park Engagement Photos early this year.
Katie + David: the two of you make our hearts soar. Thank you so much for inviting us to be a part of your Hayes Mansion wedding. And we could not imagine it any more beautiful and perfect! Signature Events by Christina Romero absolutely knocked it out of the park. And we especially loved how perfectly tailored to you and your love story everything was. We can’t wait to go to Disneyland with you and celebrate all your life milestones!
Love,
A + M
Everything about this Hayes Mansion wedding was absolutely perfect. We loved working with Signature Events by Christina Romero who is one of the best Bay Area wedding planners ever. Dolce Hayes Mansion hosted this fun event and provided top notch wedding catering. And Ann’s Petals provided stunning wedding florist services. Faces by Emily made sure our bride looked stunning with wedding hair and makeup. And Sugar Butter Flour made sure this couple’s wedding cake was perfectly customized to them.
Fine Linen Creation provided amazing rentals and linens for this big day. And Katie found her perfect dress at David’s Bridal. The couple welcomed their guests to their event with invitations from Shutterfly. DJ Maculate provided wedding DJ services. And of course Angela Sue Photography provided wedding photography for Katie and David. Getting married at Hayes Mansion and need a San Jose wedding photographer? We may be a perfect fit!
