The best man was the first to give a speech. He held up his phone with his notes. Under twinkly lights and a warm San Diego evening, Eric told a beautiful story. And it was a story about two brothers who weren’t close until their father passed away. Two brothers who shared a commitment to the Armed Forces. Brothers who bonded over grief, sacrifice and joy. Two brothers who supported each other no matter what. And it was so clear that Eric was more than approving of Carla, who stole Isaac’s heart from an online dating app.

To be present at Carla & Isaac’s Rancho Bernardo Inn Wedding with San Diego Weddings by Gina was to witness a celebration of humanity and love. That love transcends all things, that it unites us, that it lifts us up. Every detail from the textured floral arrangements to the bride and groom face masks (thanks corona) to the romantic sweetheart table… all of it was a testament to this love story. And we had so much fun being their San Diego wedding photographers!

SAN DIEGO WEDDING

Carla and Isaac met in the usual way. Or at least, the 21st century usual way. Thanks to a cute dating app called Coffee Meets Bagel, these two were going steady within a couple of dates. Just like us! And we talked all about their love story at their Carmel Engagement Session last fall. And we even featured their love for wine. And then shortly after their engagement session, Carla & Isaac asked us to be their destination wedding photographers in San Diego. And we could not have been more enthusiastic!

Rancho Bernardo Inn Weddings are seriously a new highlight of our careers. And working with San Diego Weddings by Gina alongside Four Seasons Flowers and Willmus Weddings was like working with the dream team. We cannot wait to go back!

It was literally like working with the dream team. This Rancho Bernardo Inn wedding coordinated by San Diego Weddings by Gina was absolutely stunning. An elegant wedding design was created with beautiful rentals by Concepts Event Design and bright, beautiful wedding flowers by Four Seasons Flowers San Diego. And we definitely loved working alongside San Diego wedding videographer Willmus Weddings. 

Carla and her closest ladies had the best beauty team in Southern California! Classic bridal hairstyles were created by Ciara Coleman at Girl Code Salon & Spa. And perfect bridal makeup was designed by Southern California Makeup Artist Shelby Henry. That tasty and beautifully design wedding cake was made by Cute Cakes. And an intimate dinner was hosted by wedding DJ Republic of Music. 

Our sweet Angela Sue Bride wore a romantic wedding dress (with cute sleeves!) by Morilee. And these two chose the most perfect wedding rings by Forever Diamonds. The bride wore classy blue bridal heels by Naturalizer and more beautiful accessories by Rosy Rose Studio. She also had a timeless nail design created by Bright Pearl Nail Spa. Carla’s Bride Tribe wore navy blue chiffon bridesmaids dresses from Jenny Yoo New York. And Isaac wore a dapper suit from Mens Wearhouse and handsome groom shoes from Alden Shoes.
