The DJ announced the father/daughter dance. Our sweet Angela Sue bride, Morgan, twirled on the dance floor waiting for her father to meet her there. She describes him to be a lot like our favorite Parks Department Director (a.k.a. Ron Swanson). The kind of man that only shows emotion when it’s truly a moment he’ll never forget. At his daughter’s Sycamore Creek Vineyards wedding, Rob couldn’t hold back any longer.
And when their song, “Butterfly Kisses,” started playing, we couldn’t hold back any longer!
The wedding of the decade. No, literally. It’s been over a decade since Shane & Morgan met. And their Morgan Hill wedding was a celebration of 10+ years of best friendship and true love. Shane & Morgan’s fall wedding was absolutely one for the books. Not to mention their Yosemite engagement session was to die for as well—we just know that anytime these two step in front of the camera, whether it’s for their California engagement session or California wedding.
Everything about Shane & Morgan’s Bay Area wedding was beautiful, from the fall-kissed vineyards to the lush olive trees. Rich navy and maroon tones really made this quite the lovely spectacle for their guests. Their friends and family celebrated for hours, having the time of their lives!
Our favorite detail about this California wedding was the date. A couple years ago, Shane’s father, Ken, passed unexpectedly, and it was that event that brought Shane and Morgan back together after 3 years apart. Ken was such a wonderful man, and it was heartbreaking that he couldn’t be present for his son’s wedding physically.
So they did something about it—they chose their wedding date specifically because it was Ken’s birthday. His favorite dessert was carrot cake, so they even had delicious mini carrot cake cupcakes for dessert for all of their guests. While Ken couldn’t be with us in person, we are absolutely certain he was there in spirit, and will be for the rest of his son’s marriage.
Shane & Morgan: you two are seriously the coolest couple! We have never seen a bride and groom dance as much as you, not to mention with as much attitude! It was such a joy and a privilege to get to celebrate with you and share in this momentous occasion. We truly feel blessed by you and your relationship. Your marriage is in our prayers and we can’t wait for all the anniversaries to come!

SYCAMORE CREEK VINEYARDS WEDDING
This Sycamore Creek Vineyards wedding featured the dream team for wedding vendors. The ladies at Shag Salon Gilroy pampered our bride and bridesmaids with their hair and makeup talents. Morgan wore a beautiful Morilee lace mermaid wedding dress from our friends at Mafalda’s Bridal and Shane looked absolutely handsome in his custom Italian suit from Men’s Wearhouse. The Kendalls exchanged rings from The Diamond Ring Company and David Yurman (check out Shane’s ring!). This fall California wedding was captured for a wedding video by travel wedding videographers from Virginia, Travel House Collective.
With coordination from the amazing team for Sycamore Creek Vineyards weddings, Morgan and Shane’s fall Morgan Hill wedding was perfect. Leál takes care of everything—their in-house wedding florist, Design, Deluxe & Decor, was absolutely wonderful and really brought the fall colors to life with wedding flowers. Morgan wore studded heels by Nina Shoes from DSW and Shane wore very dapper dress shoes from Mezlan. The bridesmaids wore stunning navy and lace bridesmaids dresses from Lulus (Morgan loves lulus). Their invitations were creatively delivered from Minted.
