They met how most of us meet each other nowadays. It wasn’t an accidental run in at the bookstore or an innocent, “Can I buy you a drink?” At a downtown San Jose, California bar. No, we discovered at this Carmel destination engagement session that Carla & Isaac are pretty much our couple soulmates. Thanks to online dating, this Carmel destination engagement session was one for the books!
Carla & Isaac met on Coffee Meets Bagel—ever heard of it? We hadn’t either until friends of ours introduced us to it a couple years ago and our love story started over some digital coffee beans. And that’s how Carla & Isaac’s love story started that led to this Carmel destination engagement session! After growing up in Florida and ready for a fresh start, Carla up and moved to the Bay Area where her future husband had been living his whole life.
Much like us, Carla & Isaac’s story was one that couldn’t be stopped. First and second dates happened within days of each other, and the rest is history! They actually went to get ice cream for their first date, and Isaac and knows that vanilla is simply the best… because it’s classic. In fact, he said something quite true: “There’s a reason most of the best ice cream flavors are vanilla based.” And next year, these two will tie the knot at their own destination wedding in San Diego, California! How cool is that!?

This is our number one requested destination for engagement sessions, and you can see why! Carla scored two gorgeous dresses from Rent the Runway, which we recommend if you don’t want to add permanent pieces to your wardrobe. Mayra with Lash Out Loud did a wonderful job on our bride’s makeup! Isaac looked dapper in his suit from The Original Penguin and a classy tie from Macy’s.
