It was so clear. You could hear it in his voice. When Spencer spoke his bride’s name, it was just absolutely certain. Susie… When this head-over-heels groom said his wedding vows to his sweet Susanna, his absolute certainty that he loved her washed over everyone in the room. Anyone could tell that this day had been a long-time coming, almost as if the last four years went by in a blur. And it was a day of rejoicing that Spencer and Susanna would finally tie the knot. This historic space with only their truly closest family and friends was the perfect venue for a romantic, intimate Los Gatos wedding at Chapel on the Hill.

From handwritten invitations by the bride and groom to vintage porcelain teacups at each place setting, Spencer and Susanna’s Chapel on the Hill wedding was practically perfect in every way. Their personality and story was woven into every detail of their Los Gatos wedding and every person there was a part of their close-knit community. A close family friend altered Susanna’s beautiful Casablanca wedding dress and helped her with the final touches before she went to see her groom. Their two close friends and their little family were the entire bridal party, each one dressed to the nines for this afternoon Los Gatos wedding. 

To say that it was an honor to be present for this union is an understatement. Both Spencer and Susanna have hearts of gold, an absolute love for Jesus, and a level of respect and honor for one another that I only see couples who’ve been married for decades have. We look up to them in so many ways, and are so grateful to have been a part of this day.

Spencer & Susanna: we absolutely loved being present for your wedding as your wedding photographers and friends! It was a day full of rejoicing and joy, something that we pray for all our couples to experience! Thank you for including us. Our prayer for you is that your love for one another would always be unconditional and when it’s hard to remember that (and we know that it does get hard), that you would have unending grace for one another! We wish you all the love and joy in marriage!

Chapel on the Hill Wedding

Spencer and Susanna’s Chapel on the Hill wedding was the perfect afternoon ceremony for an intimate guest list. The coordinators at Chapel on the Hill made sure that everyone felt welcome and enjoyed their visit at their historic Los Gatos wedding venue. Gail Miller provided gorgeous floral designs for the bridal bouquets for the ladies and boutonnieres for the gentlemen. Susanna looked drop-dead gorgeous in her wedding gown from Trudy’s in Campbell and accessoried her look with designs from Haute Bride Design in Los Gatos, California. Both the bride and groom wore stunning engagement and wedding rings designed by Joe Escobar. Beautiful bridal hair styles and make up as well as the groom’s hair and beard look were provided by our friend Danielle Harer at Mirror Mirror Beauty Salon in Morgan Hill, California. Spencer and Susanna’s intimate Los Gatos wedding was our first wedding catered with delicious Indian food from Emperor of India in San Jose, California. Butter chicken? Yum! This Angela Sue bride and groom were treated by the groom’s mother, Cathy Lines, to a delicious array of cakes from carrot cake to lemon.
